At FYR Nordic Fire, we believe a good fire should leave a light footprint. Our starters are made from natural, untreated birch bark and wood — no plastics, no petroleum accelerants, no synthetic chemicals. What you burn is what nature already provided.

Responsibly sourced materials

Our birch bark and wood are sourced from Scandinavian forestry operations that prioritize responsible, managed harvesting. We work with suppliers who replant and maintain the health of their woodlands rather than clear-cutting for short-term yield.

Minimal, honest packaging

We keep packaging simple and paper-based wherever possible, avoiding unnecessary plastic wrap and oversized boxes. Less packaging means less waste in your recycling bin.

Built to last, not to landfill

Because our fire starters are 100% natural, anything left unburned breaks down naturally — unlike chemical-soaked alternatives that leave residue in the fire pit and in the ground.
